JEE Main Notification 2015- 2016:
JEE Main Notification can be checked on jeemain.nic.in. Candidates have been preparing for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main from a long time. It is one of the most awaited exams for the aspirants of engineering. JEE is conducted by CBSE every year and lot of candidates fill the application form. Qualifiers on the JEE Exam can take admission in IITs, NITs and many other prestigious engineering colleges of India. JEE is conducted all over India and students from any corner of India can apply for JEE Mains 2016. This year also JEE will be conducted in the month of April and application form will be available both online and offline starting form 1st December 2015. Eligibility criteria for the JEE Mains Exam:
Educational qualification: All the candidates who are 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as their subjects can apply for the entrance exam. Candidates who are appearing in 12th class also can fill the application form. Please note that the candidates should have at least 5 subjects in the class 12th.
Age limit: All the applicants whose date of birth is on or after 1st October 1991 are eligible for the exam. Candidates who belong to the SC/ST or PWD category will get relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam pen and paper and written test on computer. Candidates who qualify in these two exams will be eligible for counselling in any of the colleges. The exam will be conducted between 3rd and 10th April 2016.
JEE Main Exam Syllabus and Pattern:
The exam syllabus is given in the official notification of JEE Main 2016. The questions will be based on three subjects, physics, chemistry and mathematics. The question will be of 12th level and the syllabus is similar to that of 12th class syllabus of CBSE. The exam will be of objective type and maximum marks are 360 for one paper. Candidates have to attempt 90 questions in 3 hours. The paper will consist of 3 sections with 30 questions in each.
How to apply:
Candidates can apply both offline and online for the exam. For offline mode candidates have to fill the OMR application form and submit it to the address mentioned in the notice. Candidates who want to apply online have to visit the official website after 1st December and look for the link JEE Main 2016 Online Application form. Click on the link and you will find the registration page where candidates have to fill their details and register themselves. After successful registration candidates will get registration number and password and bank challan. Pay the application fee in the nearest bank and login using the registration number and password. Upload the photograph and signature and complete the application form. Click on submit to submit the application form.
JEE Main Entrance Exam:
All the applicants of JEE Main Entrance Exam are advised to keep a hard copy of the online application form with them. This hard copy can be used for future reference to the application. Please note that the application fee of JEE Main Exam is non refundable. All the candidates must check the official notice of JEE Mains 2016 before applying online.
