Eligibility criteria for SSC CGL 2016:
Educational qualification: Candidates should possess bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/college/institution. For special posts like compiler and statistical investigator degree in statistics, economics or mathematics is necessary.

SSC CGL Online form 2016:
Candidates can apply for SSC CGL exam 2016 by registering online or by sending application offline by post. To apply online visit www.ssconline.nic.in or simply click on the link provided at the bottom of this article. On this website click on examination and then select part – 1. After this you have to click on the link near “Combined Graduation Level Examination 2016” to fill up the part – 1 of the form.
After successfully filling the form note your registration number and password. Take the print out of the challan of SSC CGL 2016 by logging in using the registration and password and pay the application fee at the nearest SBI bank. For part – 2 again visit the website and select part -2 under the examination tab. Log in using your registration number and date of birth and follow the instructions to fill the part – 2 of the form. With the completion of part -2 your application process is also complete.
SSC CGL Tier – 1 Exam 2016 process:
Tier -1 exam will be of objective type of total 200 marks. The paper will consist of reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English each part will be of 50 marks each and the total duration of exam will be 2 hours. Tier – 2 exam consist of two exams of 200 marks each and 2 hours is given for each. It will consist of quantitative abilities and English comprehension making it total of 400 marks. Tier – 3 also known as the interview round is of 100 marks. Candidates are selected on the basis of total 700 marks by combining all the 3 rounds.
